In short many children and adult with joint hypermobility (low muscle tone) have problems with flat feet.
The inside border of the foot does not have a good arch and the heel bone is often angled outwards.
In additional often you will see people stand with their feet turn out and sometime with the feet far apart.
What is the idea stand?
1)Ideally when standing the feet are be positioned parallel or with a few degrees of turnout with the knees facing straight forwards.
2)The heel bone (calcaneus) is vertical and there is a small arch along the inside of the foot.
